the start

This blog is solely to capture all the memories we make as a family and remember milestones, funny sayings and all the cute thing kids do!

Maia is currently 3 and has started preschool. Her favorite movie right now is Monster House. The first movie she really started watching was Big Hero 6, then HOME, Chipmonks, and sometimes Frozen. She loves to read books. She is able to count almost to 20 by herself! She learned how to whistle which we amazing to us since we didn't even teach her. Her favorite color might be red but not 100%. She likes to play with dolls and kitchen imagine play. For awhile she wouldn't leave the house without a tutu! I hope she finds an interest in ballet! Her favorite food is hard to pin point but of course she likes candy. Maybe it's her daddies tacos. She gets extremely excited when I tell her we are going to a birthday party, maybe singing Happy Birthday is magical. Her favorite song is Katy Perry Roar and "12345 first I caught a fish alive!"
Wynter is almost 19 months. She is talking in 3 word sentences, Dances like no one is watching, and is our comic relief. This little girl cracks me up all the time! She calls our phone Cows because of an app that plays animal noises. For the most part she sleeps good but she went through the 18m sleep regression. I'm hoping that is in the past!!! She is such an affectionate little girl. She loves kisses and hugs. She kisses everything and says bye! We don't have pets but we have adopted our neighbors cat Angel and every night we say hello to the geicos outside our window. Wynter loved baby dolls and real babies. She almost seems fascinated by something smaller than her. She gently will touch a babies head or stroke their body. Cutest thing ever. She likes juice (Capri suns) to a point where she thinks that is all she needs in life. I can't tell you how many juice bags, empty, I pick up each day. Needless to say we have been limiting the habit lol. She is close to potty training since she tells me she has pooped. We'll see how that goes!!! Update soon!
